Portland Policy Council

Similar to our State Policy Council, this is a group of experts in affordable housing and community development, with decades of combined experience across the continuum from homelessness to rental housing to homeownership. The primary purpose of the Portland Policy Council is to discuss and advocate for housing policies and funding in the Portland area. The Council guides Oregon ON advocacy and educational activities and helps foster productive relationships with funders and partners, in particular the City of Portland and the Portland Housing Bureau (PHB).

Key issues and areas of focus include:

  • Portland Public Forums – we convene this ongoing series as part of our grant from PHB. The Council helps develop forum topics of interest to members.
