KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Developed and sold 157 homes to hard working, low income families earning 30-60% MFI (41% on average), providing more than 700 people, including 400 children, with a simple, decent, affordable place to live.
- Completed first Platinum LEED-Certified Habitat homes in Northwest in 2009.
- Annually involve more than 3,000 volunteers who donate over 40,000 hours
- We have experienced less than a 1% default rate on our mortgages, much lower than the national average.
- Recently opened second Habitat ReStore in Vancouver. This combined with the Portland store raises more than $120,000 annually from selling donated building materials and annually diverts more than 1000 tons of material from the landfill.
