MISSION
ROSE CDC builds community and strengthens neighborhood economics to Revitalize Outer South East Portland.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Developed 382 units of affordable housing
- The Lents Homeownership Initiative, a collaboration of more than 40 private and public sector partners led by ROSE, created 320 new homeowners, rehabilitated nearly 400 homes and sponsored more than 200 community events between 2005-2009
- Child Care Networks provide training and other resources for family child care providers, improving the viability of these small businesses and the quality of care for more than 150 children
- Leander Court, a 37-unit family apartment with on-site child care, named Oregon’s Best New Affordable Housing of 1998 by Oregon Housing and Community Services
- Lents Village, a 63-unit senior apartment building including a new Lents Loaves and Fishes Center; developed in partnership with Northwest Housing Alternatives, Inc.
- Cooper Street Bungalow Courts, 12-unit courtyard condominium project, joint venture with Portland Community Design

- Woodmere Homes provides 15 affordable homes near Woodmere School.
