What are Resident Services?
Resident Services provide opportunities that allow families, seniors and people with special needs the ability to succeed in our communities. Resident Services help to build healthy residents, healthy properties, and healthy communities.

Our currently featured resident services program: Northwest Housing Alternatives, which provides affordable housing options for families, seniors and people with special needs across Oregon.  (Continue to read about RSWG activities below!)

What is RSWG?
RSWG’s purpose is to strengthen the resident services delivery system in Oregon.  Oregon ON’s Resident Services Industry Support Coordinator brings resident services providers together to learn from national research, provide peer-to-peer support, assess barriers to successfully delivering resident services, and to create best practices for resident services programs.

Please click here to review the Resident Services ‘CORE SERVICES Logic Model’ that was developed by resident services staff in Oregon. It is a full description of the three types of SERVICES (service coordination, conflict resolution, and community building) that providers offer to residents living within our communities.  In addition, providers develop PROGRAMS to increase resident self-sufficiency.  These programs are developed based on target population and include youth, adult education, workforce development, financial literacy and asset building, and health and wellness programs.

This description, along with other resident services information, is located in our RESOURCES folder.  Check it out!
